Center for Continuing Education

Lifelong learning opportunities for professionals and community members seeking to enrich their knowledge and skills.

The Center for Continuing Education at Dar al-Kalima University offers flexible, high-quality learning opportunities designed for beneficiaries beyond traditional degree programs. It provides a diverse and thoughtfully developed portfolio of programs, including practical courses, short-term trainings, and specialized certificate programs tailored to current and emerging needs. These programs span a wide range of fields, such as arts, languages, entrepreneurship, AI technology, art therapy, culinary and leadership, and are continuously updated to reflect evolving trends and community priorities. Through this dynamic offering, the Center equips learners with relevant skills, updated knowledge, and meaningful learning experiences that support both professional advancement and personal growth.

Responding to the needs of Palestinian society, the Center also plays a vital role in capacity building for professionals across sectors, including cultural centers, schools, NGOs, and public institutions. Through its commitment to innovation, accessibility, and excellence, it contributes to strengthening human capital, fostering creativity, resilience, and critical thinking, and advancing the social and economic development of the community.

In 2015, as part of efforts to strengthen continuing education and adult learning structures and to promote awareness of lifelong learning in Palestine, Dar al-Kalima University signed a partnership agreement with DVV International, becoming its national partner. DVV International is the Institute for International Cooperation of the Deutscher Volkshochschul-Verband e.V. (DVV), the German Adult Education Association. DVV represents the interests of approximately 900 adult education centers (Volkshochschulen) and their regional associations, forming the largest network of further education providers in Germany.
