From a Dream to a Beacon
Founded in 2006 by a bold vision — to give Palestinian youth the tools of art and creativity to express their identity and shape their world. On historic Star Street in Bethlehem, a city carrying history and hope in its heart, an institution was born that dared to dream of a bright future amid the most challenging circumstances.

Inauguration of the International Center of Bethlehem (ICB)
2006
Inauguration of Dar al-Kalima Community College in the International Center of Bethlehem (ICB) building with the accreditation of the Department of Visual Arts
2008
Graduation of the first cohort of associate diploma students
2009
Establishment of the Department of Performing Arts and the Department of Cultural and Tourism Studies
2010
Inauguration of the new campus

Relocation from the ICB building to the Visual and Performing Arts building on Mureir Mountain

Re-accreditation of Dar al-Kalima Community College as Dar al-Kalima University for Arts and Culture
