Dar al-Kalima University Honors Outstanding Student Achievements and Active Campus Engagement

As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering creativity, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging among its students, the Deanship of Student Affairs at Dar al-Kalima University organized its Student Excellence and Achievement Ceremony as part of the University's student activities program. The event recognized students who made a positive and distinguished impact during the first semester of the 2025–2026 academic year. A number of administrative and academic staff members were also honored in recognition of their continuous support for student success and achievements.

In her remarks, Dr. Nuha Khoury, Vice President for Academic Affairs, praised the students for their outstanding accomplishments and active participation, emphasizing the importance of engaging in artistic groups, competitions, scientific conferences, and volunteer work as essential components of a rich university experience that develops students' skills and broadens their perspectives.

Dr. Tamara Meslah, Dean of Student Affairs, reaffirmed the Deanship's commitment to supporting students by providing an inspiring and inclusive campus environment that encourages creativity, active participation in extracurricular activities, competitions, and conferences, and the development of future leaders capable of making a positive impact in their communities.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were presented by Dr. Nuha Khoury and Dr. Tamara Meslah, with the participation of competition and conference committee chairs, as well as coaches of the University's artistic groups.

The honorees included student volunteers who contributed to the conference "The Reality of Palestinian Architecture under Genocide and Colonial Policies in Palestine," members of the University's Theater, Dabke, and Music ensembles, participants and winners of the "Remaining Like the Roots of the Olive Tree" free drawing competition organized by the Environmental Education Center, students who presented research papers at the annual student conference "Artificial Intelligence Without Borders – Students' Journey Toward the Future," and members of the organizing committee for the University's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

This recognition reflects the vision of the Deanship of Student Affairs to invest in students' creativity and potential, empowering them to transform their talents and ideas into meaningful achievements while fostering a supportive university environment that encourages engagement, leadership, and active participation, preparing graduates who are confident, socially responsible, and committed to making a positive academic and humanitarian contribution to society.
