On April 29, 2026, Dar al-Kalima University celebrated the awarding of scholarships to students for the current academic year during a special ceremony held on its Bethlehem campus.

In response to the challenging economic conditions facing Palestine and out of its commitment to supporting academic excellence while ensuring that all students have the opportunity to continue their education, the University awarded a wide range of scholarships benefiting 45.6% of its student body. This marks a new milestone in the University's ongoing efforts to empower students and help them overcome financial challenges.

During the ceremony, Dr. Noha Khoury, Vice President for Academic Affairs, presented the scholarships to the deserving students. In her remarks, she expressed gratitude to the scholarship donors and the dedicated scholarship committee for their efforts, reaffirming the University's commitment to expanding access to higher education, particularly in light of the current economic hardships.

This year's scholarships included merit-based scholarships, academic incentive scholarships, scholarships for children of University employees, sibling scholarships, scholarships for students with disabilities, and need-based financial aid. In addition, generous support from several local and international donors enabled more students to pursue their academic goals.

A specialized committee carefully reviewed all scholarship applications according to clear and transparent evaluation criteria, ensuring fairness, integrity, and equal opportunity in the selection process.

This initiative reflects Dar al-Kalima University's vision of expanding equitable access to higher education, encouraging academic excellence and community engagement, and reinforcing its leading role in advancing education, culture, and creativity in Palestine.

The ceremony also featured a distinguished musical performance by students from the University's Music Program, adding a celebratory and artistic atmosphere to the event.
