Program Overview
Art is an aesthetic practice and a multidimensional human language capable of shaping collective consciousness, refining cultural identity, and generating sustainable social transformation. The Master of Arts program aims to prepare creative artists and intellectuals capable of making a meaningful impact on the cultural and artistic landscape at both local and international levels.
The Master of Arts in Music specialization qualifies graduates to work in a wide range of professional and academic fields, including:
• Specialized music teaching in schools, institutes, cultural centers, and Palestinian colleges and universities.
• Working as composers, instrumentalists, or professional singers, with the ability to form and manage musical ensembles.
• Engagement in artistic and music production companies, development of independent music projects, or community-based musical initiatives.
• Music research: conducting academic and analytical studies on traditional and contemporary Palestinian music.
• Participation in educational projects and cultural initiatives aimed at preserving Palestinian musical heritage.
• Total Credits: 36 credit hours
• Duration: Two years
