Tourism and Archaeology

Faculty of Cultural Management

Dar al-Kalima University

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Tourism and Archaeology program offers a unique academic experience that combines an understanding of the tourism industry with an exploration of Palestine's rich history. The program integrates the study of tourism as a science focused on planning, development, and sustainability with archaeology, which uncovers the successive civilizations that have shaped the region's identity.

Throughout their studies, students learn about Palestine's diverse tourism assets, methods for developing and marketing them, and investigate archaeological sites and the various historical periods the country has experienced. The program also offers opportunities to participate in scientific archaeological excavations and gain practical experience in discovering and developing archaeological sites for tourism, linking them to Palestine's historical and cultural narrative.
